Dolores Park

This extensive home renovation near Dolores Park features two fully renovated units. One is a spacious garden unit, featuring an indoor-outdoor layout joined by expansive bi-fold doors. The other features the private/bedroom areas downstairs and the shared public areas upstairs, allowing the use of the attic space to create one new spacious living area. A modern yet warm and refined palette is employed throughout, featuring painted cement panel ceilings, plaster walls, oak flooring, soapstone counters, concrete floors and stairs, raw steel casework and accents, and a charred wood wall using the Japanese technique of Shou-sugi-ban, which accents the center of the house as well as the new rainscreen cladding throughout the exterior design.
